Dancing On Ice 2012: Jason Gardiner or Emma Bunton to be replaced by Louie Spence?

Dancing On Ice 2012: Jason Gardiner or Emma Bunton to be replaced by Louie Spence?

Dancing On Ice kicks off in less than two months, but two members of it’s judging panel have not yet been offered a contract for their return.
The Sun claims that neither Emma Bunton or Jason Gardiner have been asked to come back to the show and that ITV bosses are considering replacing one of the experts with Pineapple Dance Studios star Louie Spence.
If true, the move will cause a lot of awkwardness between the celebrities, as Louie is close pals with both the former Spice Girl and the dance expert.

Former British champion skater Robin Cousins is said to have already agreed a deal, which will see him appearing on the 2012 series, however though both Emma and Jason have held talks with producers, none has yet been guaranteed their spot on the panel.
“This year’s judging line-up is being taken to the wire.
“Producers want to refresh things and Jason and Emma look the most vulnerable.
“The show has been running for several years and like all ITV shows they are overhauled occasionally to keep viewers interested.”
Emma Bunton seems most likely top be axed, as she has no real ice skating or dance experience and has only appeared on the show for two series’. In 2010 she replaced Karen Barber, who went on to become head coach of the celebrity contestants.

Bosses may want rid of Jason though, as he is an OFCOM investigation magnet all on his own. Last year more than 3,500 people complained to the channel about vicious comments he made to Karen on air. In 2009 the regulatory body were also called in to investigate the show, after the star Gardiner branded Roxanne Pallet a “Cabbage Patch doll” and compared Ellery Hanley to “Mr. Potato Head”.
Dancing On Ice returns in January and will reportedly feature stars such as Coronation Street actor Andy Whyment, Eastenders actress Laila Morse, Emmerdale star Matthew Wolfenden, Hollyoaks actress Jorgie Porter and Sugababes singer Heidi Range.

This year’s show will also have a different host, after it was revealed that Holly Willoughby will not be ch-presenting with Phillip Schofield as usual. instead the Silver Fox will be joined by disgraced Daybreak star Christine Bleakley.
It is claimed that Holly will go on to work on BBC’s The Voice.
Are you looking forward to Dancing On Ice’s return? Will you watch without Jason or Emma or even Holly?

It was the film series that shot them to fame and also saw them begin a love affair that kept their fans delighted and enthralled.

It was only right that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were together to begin their goodbyes to the Twilight saga as they arrived at the UK premiere of Breaking Dawn: Part 1 in London tonight.

Greeted by hundreds of screaming fans, the on and off-screen couple looked every inch the movie stars as they posed for pictures on the red carpet at the Westfield Shopping Centre in Stratford.

Scroll down for the first review and the trailer...

Kristen, 21, looked absolutely gorgeous in her long black sheer sequinned dress by Roberto Cavalli which flattered her tiny frame to perfection.

It was a rare moment of glamour for the actress who usually keeps it quite short and funky for red carpet events but clearly had decided that tonight was a big occasion that was worthy of a grown-up glitzy frock.

It was also nice to see a beaming smile on her face, as they actress is usually one to keep rather straight-faced and serious for the cameras.
But tonight was a big deal for her as she and her co-stars start to say goodbye to a global blockbuster franchise that has brought the Stephanie Meyers books to the big screen.

Like the Harry Potter cast, they will have to do this all over again next year for the very last time when part two of the final chapter is released.
But for tonight, it was all about the first part, which witnesses the wedding between Bella and Edward and her falling pregnant with a half-vampire baby.

And it must have been nice for Londoner Pattinson, 25, to be back on his home turf again having been to every corner of the globe to promote the film.
He was greeted by deafening screams by his legion of fans, some of whom had queued for over 30 hours in an attempt to catch a glimpse of their heartthrob.

He and Stewart were joined by their co-star Taylor Lautner, 19, who plays wolfman Jacob Black, Pattinson's love rival and Bella's best friend.
They were the only stars of the saga to attend the UK screening apart from young British star Jamie Campbell Bower, 22, who fans will know made a brief appearance in the second film in the series, New Moon, as vampire Caius and director Bill Condon.

But the red carpet was still awash with plenty of other celebrities eager to catch the first showing of the highly anticipated film, including Tamara Ecclestone, Chloe Green, TV presenter Caroline Flack and This Morning host Holly Willoughby.
Also attending were singers Pixie Lott, who wore a very short black dress, Sugababe Heidi Range and The Saturday's star Una Healey, who showed off her growing baby bump in a very pretty Grecian style white dress.

TWILIGHT LOSES IT'S BITE (BUT ROBERT'S FANS DON'T CARE)

By Chris Tookey
Rating: 1 Star Rating
Verdict: Breaking down, more like. *
This film, a certain box-office hit thanks to the saga’s fanatical following, covers the first half of Meyer’s fourth book. It starts with the lavish wedding of hot yet cool vampire Edward (Robert Pattinson), aged 108, to feisty yet droopy 18 year-old Bella (Kristen Stewart). Anyone not obsessed with hair, make-up and lingerie may find the half-hour wedding sequence a near-death experience.
The inaction moves on to a turgid honeymoon on an island near Rio. There’s lovemaking so passionless it barely warrants a 12A certificate, accompanied by the world’s weediest pop music.
From there it’s on to the speediest pregnancy in history, and an alarmingly gruesome childbirth. The film-makers’ coyness about sex is strangely at odds with the grisliness of the caesarian section, which might well put an impressionable 11 year-old girl off ever giving birth.
The movie seems deeply confused as to how vampires procreate. Now it is the normal human way, whereas earlier in the series vampires continued their line by biting humans. The writers seem to be changing the rules as they go along.
Poor old Edward is clearly as much in the dark as the audience. At one point, he goes on a search engine to look up 'demon children'. The mystery is why he didn’t go to it a bit earlier and look up 'birth control'.
Skip the next two paragraphs if you don’t want to read a spoiler, but the climax depends on the notion that a grown-up werewolf can 'imprint' upon a baby at birth and make that offspring forever tied sexually to him. Yes, a werewolf can fall in love with a baby, and vice versa!
The idea is deeply creepy, bordering on paedophile, and completely at odds with the surely much healthier notion that an adult has the right to fall in love with anyone he or she chooses. Maybe even a non-werewolf.
Director Bill Condon has made classy films in the past, notably Gods & Monsters and Kinsey, but he has never shown much sense of humour or feeling for pace or action. He is ideally unsuited to this material.
His attitude towards the Twilight Saga is reverential. There is none of the intentional comedy that enlivened the previous Twilight movie. The only laughs in this are from the po-faced dialogue, potty plotting and wooden performances.
And before all you Twilight fans complain that I’m too old to appreciate the saga, check out my review of the first film; I awarded it four stars out of five. A rather good original idea has dwindled into self-parody.
