They are the kind of scenes you might expect to witness in a town centre up north early on a Sunday morning.
But these images of dishevelled girls with eyes down and make-up half gone are part of the latest fashion campaign for luxury department store Harvey Nichols.
The footage - set to go viral - is a tongue-in-cheek alternative to the tear-inducing ad by John Lewis.
Can you relate? The new Christmas campaign for Harvey Nichols shows a group of girls walking home after a night out
The scarily accurate scenes show various different women wearing revealing dresses and high heels as they make their way through busy streets, bus-stops and tube stations.
One girl is even filmed walking barefoot as she carries her shoes in her hands.
Harvey Nichols claims to have the solution - appropriate attire that will mask the tell-tale signs - illustrated at the end with a smiling model wearing somewhat more demure clothing.
The morning after: A model recreates scenes of revellers stumbling home in the early hours
Last train home: The tongue-in-cheek ad is similar in style to the John Lewis Christmas campaign, though it differs greatly in content
The strap line reads 'Avoid the walk of shame this season.'
The one-minute clip, which has so far received around 50,000 hits, also invites viewers to 'share their walk of shame' on Twitter, using a hash tag - a symbol to create searchable terms on the social networking site.
Julia Bowe, Group Marketing Director at Harvey Nichols said: 'We always like to take something true to life and have fun with it and see how Harvey Nichols can make things better.
Here comes the girls: The footage, advertising womenswear will appeal to ladies who have been in a similar situation
Musical drama: The accompanying soundtrack is a Christmas-themed jingle
'A fabulous dress teamed with a great pair of shoes will atone for a multitude of sins in our eyes; nobody will be looking at your morning after make-up...or lack thereof!'
The ad is somewhat similar in style - but not in content - to the John Lewis campaign.
Dubbed 'one of the greatest ever,' it ends with the strap line 'For gifts you can't wait to give'.
Viral: The one-minute clip has so far received around 50,000 hits
It uses a new version of The Smiths' classic Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want sung by Slow Moving Millie.
The £6million production went online last month and received more than 500,000 hits on YouTube.
Last year, Harvey Nichols' Christmas ad also went viral.
Stride of pride: The last model wears more demure attire, with the help of the department store's womenswear collection
Strapline: Harvey Nichols wants you to avoid the walk of shame this season
It featured gift-wrapped Pugs, Chihuahuas and Cavapoo, branding dogs as the latest must-have accessory. It racked up over 15,000 views.
