At the MTV Europe Music Awards last night, a majority of the female celebrities were opting for traditional red carpet gowns.

But Hollyoaks star Jennifer Metcalfe, who plays pregnant widow Mercedes Fisher, decided to mix things up with a racy Grease-inspired ensemble.

The Bradford-native, 28, showed off her curves in an eye-wateringly tight pair of leggings and a plunging sheer top.

In fact her top was so low-cut, it looked like the former Dancing On Ice contestant was in danger of suffering from a wardrobe malfunction.

As she posed on the pink carpet of the Odyssey Arena in Belfast, she had a scare when she felt a bit drafty and quickly adjusted her top to proserve her modesty.

 

In her skin-tight leggings, which she teamed with a pair of animal-print heels, Metcalfe looked as if her ensemble had been inspired by the fitted trousers worn by Olivia Newton-John during the climax of Grease

But Metcalfe's overall sexy ensemble was let down by her oversized furry clutch bag, which was a tad too large for her revealing outfit.

After ending with awards, it appears Metcalfe carried on partying with Geordie Shore star Greg and her Hollyoaks co-star Kieron Richardson at the nearby Spaniard pub.

Greg tweeted: 'Wow, never thought I'd end up in the Spaniard wit @damdam1 @gempinkney @kieoronrichardso and @missjenjomet who keeps gettin us in trouble.'

To which Metcalfe replied: 'Big TIIIIIME!!'

Metcalfe's body confidence comes a year after she admitted undergoing a £2,000 vaser liposuction procedure to remove excess fat from her upper thigh and bottom area.

Following the procedure, she dropped from a dress size of 10 to 12 around her hips to a size six to eight.

Speaking recently, the star insisted she is proud of her decision to undergo the procedure, and is now happy with her curves.

She said: 'I think surgery is a really personal decision that only you can make.

'If there's something on your body you really don't like, it doesn't matter if your mother doesn't see it or your boyfriend doesn't see it - it's what you feel comfortable with.'
