She'll soon be donning her khaki shorts and Akubra hat for her stint squatting mosquitoes and facing all sorts of creepy-crawlies in the jungle.
So former Emmerdale star Lorraine Chase made the most of her last days to look presentable as she jetted into Australia this week.
The 60-year-old dressed smartly for her flight in a chic red summer dress, black patent heels and stockings.
Well dressed for the jungle: Lorraine Chase arrives in Brisbane this week ahead of her appearance on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
Lorraine flashed an excited thumbs up at photographers as she arrived in Brisbane.
The actress is one of the first celebrities to land Down Under ahead of her appearance on the reality series, which premieres on Sunday.
She told reporters: 'I had a 60th birthday in July and ever since then I've been trying to find a challenge. I'm A Celebrity is that challenge.'
In a surprising move, ITV producers have gone for an older batch of celebrities to throw into the jungle this year.
Here I go! Comedian Freddie Starr, 69, looked excited as he jetted out of Heathrow
Rather than the usual batch of buxom, bikini-clad D-listers, a host of over-60s have been recruited.
At least four of the celebrities who will be thrown into the Australian bush are in their 60s.
Former jockey Willie Carson, 69, has also arrived in town, according to the Sun, and comedian Freddie Starr, 68, was spotted leaving Heathrow.
Starr is famous for the Sun newspaper headline 'Freddie Starr ate my hamster.'
The story, in 1986, was untrue, but remains one of the best-known front pages in history.
Looking forward to it? Former jockey Willie Carson, 68, is expected to appear on the show, along with Hart to Hart actress Stefanie Powers, 69
U.S actress Stefanie Powers, 69, is also understood to be joining the line-up.
Stefanie, best known for 1980s TV drama Hart To Hart, is said to be jetting into the Gold Coast from Los Angeles.
And shortly after landing, Willie said: 'I'm really looking forward to experiencing Australia, but I'm not prepared for roughing it in the jungle.
'I'm not ready for the camping aspect and I'm really going to miss my bed. But I've spent my whole life with animals, so the jungle creatures will be no problem. I hope I'm going to be a natural in there.'
Meanwhile, a source told the paper: 'It's a tough environment out there but we reckon these old folk can handle the pressure.
Young blood: The Only Way Is Essex star Mark Wright and The Real Hustle's Jessica-Jane Clement are said to be joining the older batch
'Some of our best characters — Kim Woodburn, Jan Leeming and Tony Blackburn — were all well over 50. This is not a show where age is a barrier, quite the opposite.'
Others that have been linked to the show include The Only Way Is Essex's Mark Wright, 24, McFly bassist Dougie Poynter, 23, Real Hustle star Jessica-Jane Clement, 26, Coronation Street's Antony Cotton, 36, Benidorm actress Crissy Rock, 53, and singer Sinitta, 43.
The full line-up will be revealed on Thursday with the show starting on Sunday.
