Avatar is a 2009 American science fiction film written and directed by James Cameron, and starring Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Stephen Lang, Michelle Rodriguez, Joel David Moore, Giovanni Ribisi and Sigourney Weaver.
The movie tells a story about the moon Pandora where a marine is torn between following his orders and protecting the world he feels is his home. In Pandora lives an alien folk called Na'vi. Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) falls in love with Neytiri (Zoe Saldana).
This was the best movie of the year 2009. The film was well-received by film critics. The main draw of the film was its use of 3D. It was so beautiful! Here are some stills from the movie.
