She thought she had found her happy ever after, marrying Kris Humphries in the elaborate wedding day of her dreams in August.
But after just 72 days of marriage Kim Kardashian realised the relationship was over and filed for divorce.
Now, in a surprisingly frank interview with the U.S edition of Glamour magazine the 31-year-old reality star has revealed she believes her dreams of a family are unlikely to be realised and she now has pessimistic outlook of her love life.

Girlie sleepover? While the covershoot might show Kim smiling the interview reveals she has realised she will not get what she wants in romance and believes she isn't meant to have children

Sweet dreams: Kim poses in a sleepover scene with her sisters but reveals: 'Maybe my fairy tale has a different ending than I dreamed it would'

In the January edition of the magazine Kim explained: ‘At first I was like, I want six kids. Then I went down to four, then I was down to three, and now I'm like, maybe I won't have any.’

Kim added: ‘Maybe my fairy tale has a different ending than I dreamed it would.’

The reality star, who appears on the cover of the magazine alongside her sisters Kourtney and Khloe, has an extremely negative forecast for her future with regards to her love life.

Happy New Year? Kim poses with her sisters Khloe and Kourtney for the cover shoot of the January issue of Glamour magazine, but the interview reveals her pain behind her smiles

She explained: ‘I believe in love and the dream of having a perfect relationship, but my idea of it has changed. I think I need to not live in a fairy tale like that. I think I maybe need to just snap out of it and be a little more realistic.’

While her sister Khloe offered encouragement to the heartbroken TV star and told her: ‘I know you will get (love) again,’ Kim appeared downcast and replied: ‘What I want isn’t possible.’

Her own heartache will no doubt draw comparisons to the happy lives of her sisters, Khloe is happily married to husband Lamar Odom, Kourtney is getting on better than ever with her beau Scott Disick and the couple are dedicated to bringing up their adorable son Mason.

In the party mood? While Kim is pictured showing off her fabulous shape in a little black dress in a party scene her interviews shows she feels she has little to celebrate

Happy ever after: While Kim is heartbroken her sisters are happy in love with Kourtney with her beau and father of her child Scott Disick while Khloe is happily married to Lamar Odom

That leaves Kim, who is the middle daughter of Kris Jenner and the late Robert Kardashian, as the only single sister left of the trio.

Speaking about her role, the businesswoman, who has made no secret of her hope for a large family like her own said: ‘Maybe I'll just be a good aunt…At this moment in my life, I feel like maybe I'm not supposed to have kids and all that.’

While her interview might reveal her pain the pictures appear to show Kim welcoming in the New Year with plenty of hope.

Still holding on? Kim is seen with her huge engagement ring on her finger, indicating the pictures were taken before she filed for divorce on October 31

Mixing beats: Kim, Khloe and Kourtney are pictures partying around a DJ booth with Kim appearing to mix a track

Given that she is seen wearing the huge diamond engagement ring from Kris, it is likely the snaps were taken prior to her filing for divorce on October 31.
It is common for magazines to schedule different times for a photoshoot and a later date for the interview and these pictures might well bring back painful memories for Kim of happier times.
Kim is seen beaming with her sisters as the trio pose in their underwear holding a cake.
The sisters show off their famous curves in pink corsets by Playful Promises which they have teamed with black pants by Malia Mills.

What will the New Year bring? With Kim's marriage to Kris Humphries over the 2012 shoot poses the question will Kim find love next year?

Girls just want to have fun: It appears the sisters had a great time partying on the magazine shoot

In another shot Kim shows off her shape in a black Jovani dress getting into the party mood for the New Year.
She shows off her playful side taking to the DJ decks while her sisters laugh alongside her.
Kourtney looks anything but mumsy in a sexy purple Dolce and Gabbana bodysuit which she teams with a New York Hat Co. Top hat.
Khloe opts for an on-trend monochrome ensemble donning a black Sonia Rykiel sweater and a white Marc Jacobs skirt for the party.

The full interview is in the January issue of the US Glamour magazine

Other scenes show the sisters enjoying a slumber party to welcome in the New Year Kim and Kourtney are wearing Enza Costa tank customized by Wildfox Couture with Kim keeping on brand with Kardashian Kollection briefs.

While Kim is clearly preoccupied with what her future may or may not hold fans of the Kardashian family were treated to their latest reality installment on Sunday with the first episode of the new Kourtney and Kim Take New York show.

Around 3.2million fans tuned in to watch the trials and tribulations and it has been revealed that Kris Humphries also tuned in to watch his relationship with Kim deteriorate on screen.

The NBA star is said to be horrified with the way he was portrayed on screen and viewers saw him passing wind near Kourtney's face and telling his wife Kim she ate too much wedding cake.

While it has been reported that Kris also tuned in to watch the show on Sunday a source close to the basketball star told MailOnline he knew what was coming because he had seen the show weeks ago.

The source said: 'Kris reacted like any normal newlywed husband would, when a new sister in law brings a naked yoga instructor into his home, has a screaming 2 year old outside his bedroom door, with in laws constantly fighting.'

'Any normal newly married couple would get a room down the hall, but it’s the Kourtney and Kim show with many more episodes to go, not the Kris and Kim show.'

They added: 'Kris is very excited that the lockout is over and looking forward to start playing basketball again and moving forward with his life.'

Kim Kardashian strikes back after weight jibes

Who are you calling fat? Kim Kardashian strikes back after weight jibes

By Sarah Fitzmaurice

Kris Humphries is said to have branded her 'fat ass' during their short lived marriage, but now Kim Kardashian is fighting back.

The reality TV star, who is never one to miss a business opportunity, is planning to cash in on the all the weight drama.

The 31-year-old is releasing her work-out DVD Ultimate Butt Body Sculpt in the UK just after Christmas.

Fighting back: Kim Kardashian is releasing her work-out DVD, which is already available in the U.S., in Britain

The video, which is already available in the U.S., shows Kim in a cut away low cut black top, with black leggings and a thick waistbelt around her middle.

To top it off the TV star has also donned a pair of fingerless leather gloves.

Not only has Kim gone the extra mile with her workout wear, she has also donned a full face of makeup for the exercise session.

Unusual ensemble: The star is dressed in a cut away low cut black top, with black leggings and a thick waist-belt around her middle

Time for a stretch: Kim also wore a full face of makeup for the exercise session and had her hair coiffed into lovely curls around her shoulders

Kim is seen lifting some tiny dumbbells and she is also seen stretching on a step.

The DVD, which was made in conjunction with Kardashian-endorsed weight-loss supplement Quick Trim in 2009, will be released in the UK on December 26.

The decision to promote the video comes after Kris, whom Kim filed for divorce from on October 31, made derogatory comments about the star's shape.

During last night's premiere episode of Kourtney and Kim Take New York, he was shown struggling to lift her up.

Lingerie on show: In another shot Kim is seen stretching show off her cleavage in a pink bra

'God, you ate a lot of wedding cake,' he said, before the pair come crashing down onto the bed.

During the show, Kim participated in a yoga session taken by a naked male instructor.

The class left Kris fuming and he ultimately decided to move out of their New York hotel, which they were sharing with her sister Kourtney and her family.

Getting heavy: Kris is seen joking with Kim about her weight and told her she had eaten too much wedding cake

He concluded: 'Mason's playpen five yards from my room. Naked yoga dudes. I think I am going to go to Minnesota and get ready for the season and just train and stuff.'

Kim replies: 'I don't really know what to say. I just don't really get it, we're going to live separate and stuff.'

Kris tried to reassure her: 'I love you - just don't get upset with me.'

The series, filmed before the couple split, will chart their doomed relationship.

While there has been an online petition to get the Kardashians off the air it appears fans are as keen as ever to keep up with the family.

Kourtney and Kim take New York managed to pull in 3.2million viewers last night.

Although shy of the 4.4million who tuned in to watch Kim's fairytale wedding the second series of KKTNY pulled in more viewers than the first.

Something a bit different: Last night viewers saw Kim and her sister Kourtney take part in a spot of naked yoga

Angry: Kris didn't appreciate the alternative workout that Kim enjoyed and told her he was moving out

Kris Humphries takes a dig at Kim Kardashian's weight in new reality show footage

'God you ate a lot of wedding cake': Kris Humphries takes a dig at Kim Kardashian's weight in new reality show footage

It has been reported that the breakdown of Kim Kardashian's marriage to Kris Humphries was attributed to his mean behaviour.

This week, it was alleged that the 26-year-old NBA player told his 31-year-old wife that she had 'fat a*s' and that her 'talent and her fame wouldn't last'.

Now in a new sneak preview of Kourtney & Kim Take New York, Kris is seen joking about his bride's weight.

Mean man? In a new sneak peek of Kourtney & Kim Take New York, Kris Humphries jokes about wife Kim Kardashian's weight

In in an E! clip obtained by U.S. magazine Us Weekly, the couple are seen packing for New York, with Kim going through photographs of outfits that have been put together for her trip.

A towering shirtless Kris strides over to his wife to look at the snaps on her camera.

'This outfit is so cute,' he says as he scoops her up for a cuddle.

Laughing it off: Kim is seen laughing off her new husband's comments

Struggling to lift her up, he then says: 'God, you ate a lot of wedding cake,' before the pair come crashing down onto the bed.

Laughing off his comment, Kim is then dragged to the bathroom by Kris for a shower.

Earlier in the video, Kris is also seen trying to snatch Kim's camera out of her hand.

Crash! Kim and Kris are seen falling down onto their bed after the embrace

'Let me see,' he says.

'Stop, you are so forceful,' Kim replies laughing.

And in an ironic statement in the face of their recent split, Kris replies: 'Give it to me, you are my wife now, you are my wife. It is going to take a lot to get rid of me.'

Giggles: While Kris' comments might have hurt, Kim didn't show it

The sportsman does, however, show that he is keen to get to know his new wife's family.

'How excited are you to go to New York?' Kim asks him.

'I am really excited. I am excited to be Mason's uncle and also to spend some time with Scott and Kourtney,' he says of their impending trip.

Controlling? Kim is dragged to the bathroom by Kris for a shower

The new footage comes after Us Weekly reported earlier this week that Kris was brutal with his comments towards his new wife, and insulted her constantly, once even referring to her sizeable derriere as a 'fat a*s'.

A source told the magazine: ‘He belittled her in front of people. He'd call her stupid. It was truly sickening.

‘He tried to control Kim by bringing her down...He would say truly terrible things. One time, he said she had no talent and her fame wouldn't last.’

Dominating? Earlier in the video, Kris is also seen trying to snatch Kim's camera out of her hand

Split: Kim announced she was filing for divorce on October 31, just 72 days after their lavish wedding

A source close to Humphries told the MailOnline earlier this week: 'The Us Weekly story is completely taken out of context and a manipulation of the media. The show is completely staged; there is nothing real about this reality show.

'Kris teased Kim a lot, but it was never malicious, and he never resented her. He loved her and still does. Too bad they have to tear someone down to propel their own careers.'

It has also been alleged that Kris is planning to sue Kim for $10million over his role in the upcoming Kim and Kourtney take New York series.

According to Life&Style magazine: ‘He’s claiming his role on Kourtney & Kim Take New York is bigger than he was told, and that’s why he wants more money. But Kris is also suing because he’s really worried about how badly he’s going to be portrayed on the series.’

In the trailer for the upcoming series viewers see a furious Kim blasting Kris for his partying ways and asking why she found out he wasn’t even in the country through Twitter.

Kim’s sister Kourtney is seen offering her distraught sister relationship advice suggesting the marriage was over before it ever really began.

Kim announced she was filing for divorce on October 31, just 72 days after their lavish wedding.

In the wake of their split both kept a low profile and Kim cut a trip to Australia short before visiting Kris in his hometown, Minesota.

Kim then went to work on Tyler Perry's new film The Marriage Counsellor in Atlanta but has since returned to LA and on Monday and Tuesday night was seen cheering on her brother Robert in Dancing With The Stars.

Yesterday the reality star also volunteered at the Los Angeles Mission in honour of today's Thanksgiving holiday.

Charitable: Yesterday the reality star also volunteered at the Los Angeles Mission in honour of today's Thanksgiving holiday

News cameras and reporters were on hand, of course, to capture the brunette beauty's altruistic endeavours.

The E! star looked less done up than she has of late, wearing far less make-up and looser clothing than she's typically seen in.

In fact, the Kourtney & Kim Take New York star looked downright fresh-faced with matching pale pink lips and cheeks.

Helping hands: Kim, along with fellow Hollywood starlet Jennifer Love Hewitt, was caught on camera prepping food for the meal

Jibes: Earlier this week it was alleged that Kris had referred to his wife's famous derriere as a 'fat a*s'

Her hair, usually done and blown out to perfect, hung over her shoulder in a simple fishtail braid.

And it would appear she found her experience feeding the homeless a rewarding experience.

She wrote on her Twitter page on Wednesday: 'Just left the LA Mission. Met so many kind-hearted people! They're (sic) goal is to feed 120,000 people by the end of the yr! We fed so many today.'

She added: 'Everyone of us can do something small that will make a huge difference to someone else.'

Kim, along with fellow Hollywood starlets Zoe Saldana and Jennifer Love Hewitt, was caught on camera prepping food for the meal.

'These people don't have the meals that we do, so anything we can do to provide that for them, I'm very happy to do,' she told ABC News 7.

She helped to prepare 3,000 pounds of turkey and 80 gallons of gravy to serve the meals.

Meanwhile Kris last week stepped out as the face of a watch brand, cashing in on his heightened fame.

RadarOnline reported earlier this week that Kim's manager and mother Kris Jenner has got Kim on lockdown - and is limiting her public appearances until the backlash over her divorce has settled down.

Jenner has told Kim to stay out of the spotlight and has gone into damage control after being shocked at the amount of bad Press the short-lived marriage has received.

A source told the website: 'They did not anticipate the extreme backlash and the damage it would cause to the K-brand as a whole.

'The whole empire has been affected by this dumb marriage and Kris Jenner is all about getting paid.'

Kylie and Kendall Jenner assume red carpet duties as sister Kim weathers divorce drama

Kim's mini-Kardashians: Kylie and Kendall Jenner assume red carpet duties as sister Kim weathers divorce drama

After Kim Kardashian became a household name, it's clear Kylie and Kendall Jenner are keen to follow in her footsteps.

The siblings, 14 and 16, took over red carpet duties from their older half-sister as she struggles with the aftermath of her whirlwind marriage to Kris Humphries and heads to the divorce courts.

Hosting the Hello Kitty collection launch at the Forever 21 store in LA, the girls wore mixed cutesy hair bows with thigh-skimming shorts that'd leave most parents locking them up until they reach 30.

Older than their years: Kylie and Kendall Jenner attend Forever 21 for Hello Kitty Collection launch party in LA

They changed throughout the evening to model various items from the fashion line, with Kendall at one point wearing a sheer top beneath leather dungaree shorts and leopard print boots.

In another outfit, the elder sister wore black wedges with bare legs and eye-wateringly skimpy shorts.

Too much too young? Kendall wears see-through top beneath leather dungaree shorts and leopard print boots

Lollipop ladies: Sisters posed with sweet treats, before changing into new outfits to model more of the range

She teamed the ensemble with a white sweater decorated with images of the brand's logo on it.

Kylie wore copycat shoes, covering an ounce more flesh in knee-high socks and marginally longer striped shorts.

Mini grown-ups: The girls looked older than their teenage years

Watch out Kim! Kylie and Kendall look set to steal their half-sister's limelight

The Teen Vogue model completed the look with a grey jumper brandishing the famous kitten.

Their hair was groomed identically and immaculately, with long shiny brunette ponytails hanging over their shoulders.

Spending their cash: The girls sift through the rails eyeing up their purchases

Kylie later switched into a grey mini dress and black tights, covering up more skin which was more suited to her age.
The brunette clearly enjoyed her duties, later tweeting: 'Coming home from hosting the Hello Kitty forever 21 launch! I love it!'

Towering beauties: Kendall and Kylie hover inches above everyone, despite their tender years

Both siblings had applied a thick layer of make-up, generously lathering on the blusher and bright lipstick.

The girls are both unsurprisingly pursing careers as models having been blessed with good genes.

Kim will need to watch out as the young starlets, who feature on reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, look ready to steal her limelight.

Model behaviour: Jenner siblings showcased several different outfits on the mocked up runway

Kendall is already making a name for herself, having modelled for the Sherri Hill dress line, which specialises in prom dresses and gowns for pageants.
Not that the mega rich reality star even needs to earn a living, after parents Kris and Bruce Jenner treated her to a $90,000 (£56,000) Range Rover for her sweet 16th, wrapped up in a giant bow.
Little Kylie is not prepared to be left behind, launching her career last year and signing to the infamous and prestigious Wilhelmina Models agency.

Forever chic: The girls posed with a Hello Kitty mascot with their smiles etched firmly in place

Sweet tooth: Despite her thin frame, Kendall doesn't make any effort to avoid sugary treats

Earlier this week, the fashion-conscious teenagers were rewarded for their efforts by winning a Hollywood Style Award.

Writing on their blog, Kylie said: 'It was so crazy and surreal that we were honored with the Stylish Sisters Award - such a special moment for us BOTH, especially since Khloé was the one to present us with it. What an incredible night!'

As the girls revelled in the limelight, Kim is currently divorcing her NBA star husband of 72 days.

Life of luxury: Nail artists are on hand for funky manicures

Former publicist Jonathan Jaxson blasted the marriage as nothing more than 'a publicity stunt', claiming Kim his still in love with ex Reggie Bush.
He said: 'Two weeks prior to her wedding she knew it was not something she wanted to do.
'Unfortunately they were obligated to honour contracts [with the E! network which had TV rights] otherwise they would have owed a lot of people a lot of money... She's never gotten over [her ex].'

Kendall Jenner gets a £56,000 Range Rover for her 16th birthday

That's a VERY sweet 16! Kendall Jenner gets a £56,000 Range Rover for her 16th birthday

By Daily Mail Reporter

Last updated at 9:31 PM on 14th November 2011

Most teenage girls keep their fingers crossed for a special present for their 16th birthday.

But when you're a member of the millionaire Kardashian-Jenner clan, you can count on an extra lavish, expensive present.

Reality star Kendall Jenner was stunned when her parents Kris and Bruce Jenner treated her to a $90,000 (£56,000) Range Rover for her sweet 16th.

With her older sister Kim Kardashian coming out of hiding following her recent split from husband Kris Humphries, the whole family celebrated Kendall's birthday with a party at the Andaz Hotel on Sunset Boulevard on Saturday night.

Oh my goodness! Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and Rob Kardashian watch an excited Kendall Jenner receiving her $90,000 Range Rover birthday present at the Andaz Hotel in West Hollywood on Saturday night

Driving in style: The $90,000 2012 model includes 13/19 miles-per-gallon

After enjoying food and drinks inside the West Hollywood hotel, Kendall was called outside to the hotel parking lot, where her new vehicle was wrapped in a big red bow.

'Kendall was thrilled and jumped right in the car with friends,' a source told Us Weekly.

'She spent about 15 minutes in there checking everything out, oohing and aahing over the car. She was in the driver's seat and her friends were crowding around her inside the car.'

Kim had jetted in from Atlanta, where she has been filming scenes for Tyler Perry's movie Marriage Counselor, especially for the bash.

So happy: Kris Jenner (far left) looks on as her daughter plays with her new toy

Kendall was also joined by the rest of the Kardashian/Jenner clan, including parents Kris and Bruce Jenner, brother Rob, younger sister Kylie, older sister Kourtney and her partner Scott Disick, and Khloe and husband Lamar Odom.
The night after her party, The teen joined older sister Khloe on the red-carpet of the 2011 Hollywood Style Awards at the Smashbox Studios in Los Angeles.
The brunette beauty showed off her long legs in a white mini-skirt, which she paired with a sheer mint blouse that had a deep V at the front and the back.
She accessorised the look with some silver T-bar stilettos, and a simple thin matching metallic belt wrapped around her tiny waist.

Flying visit: Kim Kardashian jetted in from Atlanta to attend Kendall's party

Khloe, who is ten years older than her younger sibling, meanwhile slipped into a black long-sleeve silk gown.

The frock swamped the 26-year-old's figure, with it's billowing cut, and wore her ombre-dyed hair in loose wave and had lashings of red-lipstick on her lips.

Her Gothic look heavily resembling Angelica Houston as Morticia Addams in The Addams Family. Kendall and Khloe's sister Kylie also attended the event.

The 15-year-old looked stylish in sheer cream lace shirt, paired with an asymmetrical black skirt and lace-up booties.

Making a wish: Kendall blows out her candle after her mother arrives with the impressive cake

Last week it emerged that the teen decided against getting a tattoo.

She backed out of getting inked at the last minute, during another sweet sixteen birthday celebration in Las Vegas, according to Us.

Famed tattooist Mario Barth, the artist who was going to give the reality star her ink, told the publication that Kendall wasn't quite ready to go under the needle.

He said: 'She loved the design. But she was saying, "I don't feel 100 per cent. Can I wait?" She made the right call.'

Real sweet: The party took 'sweet' sixteen literally, and was catered by The Sugar Factory

Frolics: Kylie gives big sister Kourtney a lift while Kendall stocks up on treats

Kendall's planned design was scripture; the French phrase 'vous etes belles', which translates to 'you are beautiful'.

The teen intended to get the artwork on back of her neck.

And being at the tender age of 16, Kendall of course required consent from parents Kris and Bruce Jenner.

The couple did sign the permission slip, but Kendall's big sister Kim Kardashian said her step-father Bruce would be thrilled she didn't go through with it.

Success story: Khloe and Lamar seemed to be having a ball

'Bruce will be so happy!' she told Us Weekly.

Kim, who has recently been keeping underwraps since announcing her divorce from husband Kris Humphries last month, said she's not a fan of ink.

She said: 'I'm not a fan of tattoos. Especially at a young age when you change your mind so much.'
Kim's sister Khloe and brother Rob, however, appear to be quite fond of tattoos.

Leggy: The brunette beauty showed off her long legs in a white mini-skirt, which she paired with a sheer mint blouse that had a deep V at the front and the back

In fact Khloe has three, including the words 'I love you' in her late father Robert's handwriting on her wrist, a cross and angel wings with 'Daddy' written on her lower back, and her husband Lamar Odom's initials on her hand.

Dancing With the Stars contestant Rob also has several inkings, including the beginning of a sleeve of artwork on his forearm, featuring a portrait of his late father.

Kendall, who is signed to prestigious agency Wihelmina Models, has won contracts with Forever 21, Luca Couture and most recently, Australian designer Leah Madden's Summer 2012 campaign Pirouette.

Sister act: Khloe appeared to have taken inspiration from The Addams Family's Morticia, while sister Kylie, 15, looked stylish in sheer cream lace shirt, paired with an asymmetrical black skirt and lace-up booties
